Final Metro rosters for 2014-2015
The NBA usually sponsors Metro teams as follows:
All Metro players 3rd through 6th grade must participate in the in-house rec program to be eligible to play Metro. Metro tryouts are held every year before the in-house rec program starts. The tryouts are announced here, in the NBA newsletter and on Facebook.
All 7th & 8th grade Metro players must make the Norwin Middle School Blue or Gold team to be eligible to play Metro. All 20 players from the Blue & Gold middle school teams in both 7th & 8th grade are welcome to play Metro. The NBA can also pull players outside of the school teams to fill a roster, as necessary.

All star tournament teams
All Star teams are formed toward the end of the in-house rec program. All Star teams are selected by ratings of the in-house coaches. Each coach submits ratings from 16 to 1, rating their top choice as 16 down to 1. The values are added to rank each player.
The NBA usually sponsors Allstar teams as follows:

"Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it."
- Michael Jordan
"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."
- Henry Ford
"The idea is not to block every shot. The idea is to make your opponent believe that you might block every shot."

- Dave DeBusschere
“I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot...and missed. And I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why... I succeed.”
- Michael Jordan
"If you're not making mistakes, then you're not doing anything. I'm positive that a doer makes mistakes."
- John Wooden
