All star tournament teams

All Star teams are formed toward the end of the in-house rec program. All Star teams are selected by ratings of the in-house coaches. Each coach submits ratings from 16 to 1, rating their top choice as 16 down to 1. The values are added to rank each player.

  • A Teams are formed from the top 5 rated players and 3 coaches picks.
  • B Teams are formed from the next top 5 rated players and 3 coaches pick.
  • Split squad teams are formed from the top ranking players.

The NBA usually sponsors Allstar teams as follows:

  • 3rd Grade - 2 teams of 8 players - equal teams - split squad
  • 4th Grade - 2 teams of 8 players - equal teams - split squad
